Thanks Ken3, Same to you. As a father of 3, twins, (boy and girl age 17) and another son, almost 11, I'm glad we have this day. I'll be fishing and on the water for the better part of the day... What is the plan for all the other fathers out there?
It was 10 years ago today that my father passed away. Today, while spending my son's first Father's Day with my him, Daughter, Daughter-In-Law, and Granddaughter, I passed on a ring my father gave to me years ago, and my 2nd wedding band that no longer fit me. I told him that some day when his son (yet to be conceived) became a father, he could pass them on to him. He tried my old wedding band on and it fit. While looking at it, his wife told him that he should wear that band instead of the titanium band he now wears. He put his titanium band in his pocket. I think I'll remember this one the rest of my years.
Wow IV thats cool, stuff like that is so special. Also sorry to hear about your loss, i lost my dad a few months shy of me turning 5. So now my son is that age and i absolutely enjoy spending time with him, oh and his little brother too.
