I just want to wish a Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Although I have no idea who my biolgical father is, I will see to it that my stepfather as well as the father of my babies is appropriately honored today. She has something very special planned We can't tell what it is
Thanks and happy fathers day to all dads. 2 out of 3 have visited and the last one is on the way. Will spend the afternoon on the beach and perhaps a boat ride.
Thank you, and all the chilluns are over, even the grandson, he gave me a box of raisenettes for a present, God bless his little heart !!! We are doing the grill thing today, venison backstraps, corn on the cob, seasoned yukon gold potatoes, while I sip on the bloody marys all afternoon !!! Cheers !!!
Our family had a great Father's Day. We went out to the grandparents' place, my stepfather's parents. (I call him Dad, "daddy" is my husband.) They're wonderful people. They've completely accepted my mom and me as members of the family. (And we've gotten used to their jokes about our size. The guys decided to have dinner THEIR way which meant gigantic steaks, marinated in beer and grilled, served with more beer. Grandma made a big pitcher of iced green tea for me, since I'm not old enough to drink and I was driving home anyway. The guys refused to deal with vegies so grandma and I sauted some mixed vegies and also some spinach tossed with bacon. There were some small gifts and everyone had a great time.
