So I made a pre birthday dinner for my wife. Awesome day had dinner with kids home. My daughter brought the pick up and hooked to the trailer took both horses the bags of shavings feed and supplements. First night in 23 years going to bed without having horses in the barn.:chewy:

I should have known it was going to be like this. Today the farrier showed up and no horses, rescheduled for next monday I have to leave work at noon pick up the trailer and the horses haul them home for a trimming and new shoes and pay for it then haul the horses back up to the daughters place. My wife wants to fill the empty stalls with cart ponies. Hate to say it life was simpler with the damn horses in the stalls at home.

The ferrier can't trim the horses at your daughters place?

He does not travel that far, and he is the only farrier allowed to touch her horses hooves or install shoes. The things a dad does for his little girl.
