There's nothing like sharing a birthday w/family and friends. I sincerely thank you all for your wishes! Back when Mom was still alive, every year I was home on leave during my birthday, Mom would make my favorite meal...Meatloaf, Mashed potatoes (w/lumps), corn, and biscuits. For dessert, she would always bake me a German chocolate cake. Yesterday, I had to work late. Tonight, when I got home from work, there was my favorite meal, made by my wife. As I sat there savoring every bite (it's not Mom's meatloaf, but its too close to tell the difference since I think my wife put in almost as much love as Mom always did), I started feeling a little meloncholy. I am blessed, truly blessed. Once again, thank you all! Mark
Ahhh nice meal, and to top it all off with German Choclate cake means I believe today I will going to pick up the ingredients for German Choc cake. I have not had one in quite some time and when I slice that piece I will be wishing you and your family good health and a great upcoming season. Happy Birthday!
