my wife works at arby's and they have to have a special wild game license to sell the venison meat. any restaurant in pa that sell wild game meat is required to have the special license.
Wild game serving permit A wild game serving permit is required only when either, or both, of the following apply: the location at which the wild game will be served is: a restaurant, club, hotel, boarding house, tavern, logging camp or mining camp, AND any of the game is wild deer, elk, bear, squirrel, game bird, or game fish taken from inland waters; OR a fee of any kind is charged or collected to participate AND any of the game is wild deer, elk, bear, squirrel, game bird, game fish or any other wild animal that has a bag or possession limit and the season is closed for that species (such as rabbit or turtle during the closed season).
Again this is farm raised grass fed new zealand venison, more than likely available in grocery stores all across New Zealand.
First in line here. Tent pitched. Just cracked my first beer. Restaurant is still open...they kinda looking at me weird.
I'm working at the airport about 5 mins from there, might be able to snag one at lunch break if the lines aren't bad. I know my chances are slim, but you never know Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Haha, I promised myself that if I didn't get a sandwich I'd book an elk hunt XD JK of course, But that would be a slightly cooler way to get my sandwich Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Here is the advertisement, And here is the real deal, I'm not sure I can tell the difference It was good though, a little over cooked, but not bad for fast food. It Had enough of a gamy taste to make me start wanting to get a deer in the freezer this week! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well lets not just call it venison and let the minions think they are lining up and clamoring what we as hunters consider venison when it is commercially grown livestock in another country. You might as well be excited about the return of the Mc Rib.
Hey what ever makes you feel better waiting in line to shovel in fast food to your pie hole because of a commercial.
Don't be mr. Johnny raincloud this was just a nice little reminder of what real homegrown deer meat tastes like. Besides Arby's isn't afraid of sticking it to peta and the other activists groups. Unlike just about every large company in America. So I really don't mind buying a "fake" deer sandwich from them. P.S. Your missing out, it was pretty tasty Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
No I am just bitter because I showed up at one of the limited release places last year and it was all gone.
