It's more than their body and they already made a choice. I agree with the father's rights as well. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
I just think they lose that right when it is not their own body anymore. My 2 cents. It is another life's body inside of that mother's body.
We always say that people should be able to do what they want unless it effects someone else. Well, killing a life inside of you is effecting someone else. It's telling a mother that they can't kill their own child. It is that simple to me.
Just curious, lets think non-human for a second. If we shoot a doe who maybe pregnant, should we use 2 tags? Its 2 lives and 2 bodies right?
trust me, I understand both sides of this I was pro-abortion before my wife got pregnant. But going through the pregnancy process with my wife, it is impossible for me to remove my emotions from this now. Thus why I'm conflicted.
I would think abortion would infringe on the unborns rights. They lose the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
Sorry, that's just a terrible analogy. HUMAN life is what we are discussing here. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
Just curious when life begins. Why should it be different for humans? Their life is valuable too isnt it?
Thank GOD for abortions. Otherwise my life would suck. Or let me clarify, the lives of at least 4 kids would suck. As soon as all the pro-lifers offer to adopt every single unwanted child that would otherwise be heading into a life of poverty and low social class, then they can start telling me and my woman what she can do with her body and any cells living within. In the world of demographics, lower birth rates = higher societies. Its the intelligent societies that learn the mechanisms of population control. Though, feel free to head to the countryside of the good ole US of A, where Honey Boo Boo is held in great esteem, they spurt out kids every harvest season and the mean IQ level is on par with that of Haiti.
I'm 99% pro life, but do believe there are a few instances where one could be justified. They have already been covered. My problem with the whole debate is this. If its a living human from conception, why don't people have funeral services for a miscarriage at say...10-12 weeks? Thats when the back peddling begins.
Agreed We're not talking about "management" although I believe some do use it for rationalization. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
It is difficult for me to respond to such a ridiculous position. Ummmm yeah pregnant deer are the same as pregnant humans. See, deer are legal to shoot and eat. We hang their heads up on walls. We don’t shoot and eat Humans. I think we view them a big different as a society don't you think?
Well, for arguments sake lets just say when there's a heartbeat. If you can find me something with a heartbeat that is not living, then we can reconsider. Animals are animals, if you want to put the value of their life on an equal plane to that of a human go ahead, but I do not. They are animals, and I would never even consider choosing the life of an animal over that of a human.
I think we should take IQ tests every year and the people that get the lowest 10% score we should just off. That way, the rest of our lives will be good.
Apparently you aren't one of the intelligent in our society, since you're not smart enough to know how not to get her pregnant.
Some people do. But I would suspect it the same reason you don't go to your 3rd cousin twice removed funeral. You haven't developed the bond that quickly develops with your loved ones.
