If you are of Christian faith and a believer, then I assure you that you are forgiven. Abraham, the father of all nations, pimped out his wife because of fear for his own well-being, and became wealthy in doing so. Yet God did not forsake him. David, the bible character described most like God in faith, heart, and attitude, committed adultery and then had the adulteress's husband killed to try and cover it up. Yes David was punished, but ultimately God forgave him and continued to bless him throughout his life. Paul, arguably the most influential Apostle and the author of a big chunk of the New Testament, personally persecuted and killed Christians before his conversion. We have all sinned in the eyes of The Lord. I don't recall God or Moses classifying the 10 commandments into minor and major offenses. They brought a adulteress woman to the Temple to be stoned to death,which was the law of the time. When they asked Jesus what to do with the woman, Jesus replied "May he who is without sin cast the first stone." Everybody left and the woman went unharmed. Just a little reminder for some of the self righteous.

Here's a double standard for you. A woman can get an abortion without approval of the father. He has absolutely no say in the matter. Yet, I had to have my wife sign legal documents saying that she acknowledged the fact that I was getting a vasectomy. The could not and would not perform the procedure without her approval and signature on the documents. Explain that one to me. Total double standard.

Ok this has bug the hell out of me all day, sorry. Preach can you chime in here, why on earth would anyone raise a child without love? Is love not one of the main reasons we our Christians? These are kids, we all know kids crave love from their parents/family. Look into any child's eyes who is not love, their is no soul in them. Why would any christian expect life without love for a kid? Our cities are riddle with kids in this situation, I would get behind an abortion ban if we had an actual program to make sure these kids get put with families. We don't have that right now, right now we have a mess.
Yes it does. Here's another example of ignorance. My wife's sister is a(how do I put this nicely) low life. She has been pregnant at least 4 times by 4 different scum bags. She lost one, one has downs syndrome and is being cared for by her parents, she actually takes care of one and she has one more on the way. She works, but doesn't make a lot of money, so she's on the system for health care. After her 3rd, she tells the doctor that she would like to have her tubes tied. FINALLY, she makes an intelligent and responsible decision right? Sorry, Medicaid will not pay for a tubal ligation. So, here she is pregnant again because she couldn't pay for it herself and the government wouldn't fit the bill. Now, they are more than likely going to be footing the bill for another child for 18 years. It's a messed up world for sure.
I am in disbelief. Well not really since the last 30 to 40 years we have voted into office the biggest bunch of sissy "men" our country has ever seen. Pathetic.
Gary, (i agree about love) but there are plenty of children born without it. My wife was the result of a teenage pregnancy. Her mother was 16 and by all accounts, never was a mother to her or her siblings. She would leave her for months at a time on drunken binges. My wife was left to raise her siblings. My wife and all her siblings are God fearing productive members of society today. They all turned out great, not without baggage but are wonderful people.
