Had 3 in the kill zone this morning just before shooting light. While waiting for time to run down some jackass in a old Dodge Ram comes strolling in at 5 min before shooting light about a 100yds from me.. He proceeds to open and close every door on his truck and stomp off down a tree line to his stand and then clang all the way up the ladder. On top of that he left his truck on the trail leading in and out of the farm that they use to get equipment in and out of fields right smack dab where deer cross through ( where 4 different fields meet) Anyways..... Was going to pull the trigger on a doe last night when I spotted a nice 8pt. He came into 45yds but wouldn't give me a shot and ran out of light. Going out again this evening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Had the big 8 come out again Sunday evening. No shot.. Came out at 65yds or so and something spoked him and 2 yearling and a big doe. The yearlings and doe took off across the field and the buck walked back into the wood lot... Couldn't see what it was... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well un-eventful weekend here in MI. The winds were blowing hard all weekend mixed with cold and rain. The deer were moving but not the right ones, ended up seeing two bucks and a doe but nothing worth harvesting. Out again next weekend, hopefully temps stay down. Congrats Okie_flinger, sounds like you had quite the successful weekend at camp for meat! P.S. don't forget two photos!!

Nice job on the doe, Okie!!! I had a shot on arguably the biggest doe I ha e ever seen second day of the season, but the arrow deflected off a twig I couldn't see. Did some trail cutting this past Monday. In florida for a family vacation now, then I have the rest of this coming week off. Hoping that it turns into something good.
