I wish either my Covert or Stealth cam were on this plot, these Moultries just dont cut it.

I believe the second photo is a 4.5 year old I call Buscemi, he is the number hitlister right now.

What would you guess he is going to score?

I would guess mid 130's right now possibly 140's. Here is a picture of I believe the same buck last year hard horned. Guy Rd 9.jpg

I would agree, probly close to 140. I wouldn't hesitate to drop him.

Hopefully I can get a glimpse of him on hoof this year or at least more photos. We just secured 60 more acres north of us so should be able to zero in on him soon.

I just found out about a new spot I could have opened to me. A friend of mine just got permission to hunt the tree lines surrounding the fields around his house. He does have permission to bring someone along with him, and the owner of the property knows my family very well, apparently. It sits about 2 miles north of the 40 acres I already hunt on.

Good deal man, I have a tree line similar to that that I am allowed to hunt. The owner/farmer says it's where all the bucks hang out but I have yet to try it. Good luck to ya!

Sorry everybody, I haven't been on here in awhile. I've been pretty busy getting ready for the school year coming up here and some other stuff. For deer hunting this year, I found some very good public land to hunt. I do have permission on private land, but I like the challenge of hunting on public and there looks like there's some dandies too. I'm going to be taking my nephew with me a lot to get his very first deer so that'll be exciting. On one piece of private ground last year, I missed a very nice buck at only 8 yds. During the release of the arrow, my bow kicked forward for some reason and the arrow went just in front of it. When I reviewed the footage, I found I ended up hitting the camera arm.:( I haven't been back at that piece of ground since around when I missed that buck so it hasn't had any pressure. So I'm hoping I get a good buck this year since I haven't shot a buck in 4 or 5 years. I've been passing up the young ones and just hoping it pays off. The NO CAM HTR is hungry!!!

Who's going to be the first one to put some points on the board for us? Hopefully the guys who start here in sept have good luck. Oct 1 seems like it's forever away, the temps really cooled off here this last week and had me in the mood real bad but it is suppose to warm back up into the 90s next week. How's everyone doin?

I think once the first season starts for the early guys I'll collect everyone's number who shared and start a group text unless someone beats me too it. Or we could start it sooner if everyone would like.

Going to be a tough early season in Michigan, this September is supposed to be one of the hottest on record for the state.

I am running so far behind on everything. Been a busy year for sure. For those who don't know me, I am on the Bowhunt or Die webshow team. I popped the question to my now fiancé over Christmas last year and we bought a house this spring. Been busy working on small projects with the house as well as trying to game plan on a property closer to where I now live rather than hunting my parents small farm all the time.

I work in a factory 12hr shifts but I get 3-4 days off a week. I have been busy shooting photos for weddings, seniors, and hunting and fishing company product shoots lately and have neglected filming for the show and logging in and connecting here on the best bowhunting forum ever. Our season here in WI starts Sept 12 but I work that weekend. I plan on hunting "smarter" not harder this year. I have friends who have been trying to get me into waterfowl hunting and I was privileged to film one morning in Montana. Seems fun so I may take them up on it. Bowhunting usually takes all my free time.

I will include a few trail camera photos of some bucks I hope to see and waiting for others from years past to show up. Bowhunt or Die, Hang'em High!
