ok i know this has probably been debated but after hunting one season with my climber im open to new ideas.since i was a kid ive used climbers for whitetail but we were hunting with dogs.now that im bowhunting im wondering about the "tree growth sendrome"so i dont have my own land to hunt on. i like the ease of moving my climber.so is a hang-on easier to conceal?better to shoot from?:argue:

i hunt mobil with a Lone Wolf Alpha hang-on and 4 or 5 sticks... I don't like hunting for a straight limbless tree, would rather hunt deer.

I agree with bukmastr. If mobility is a must then Lone Wolf is the only way to go.

im asking if anyone believes hang-ons are better for bowhunting due to conceilabilty?ive actually had deer look up and right at me in my climber.so am inclind to go to a hang-on because it seems more versitile.but how are they for allday sits?seems most of them have tiny seats.

I wouldn't think a hang on would conceal better than a climber. My questions for you are, how high do you get off the ground? How big of trees are sitting in? Hows your back cover? Are you sitting right on a field edge?

I think a hang on is somewhat more concealable than a climber because you're able to leave more limbs around and below the stand. With a climber you need to get high if you're unable to get decent back cover and use an open camo pattern like predator camo. Since I changed to predator the times deer visually pick me out in a tree have become few are far between.

ive gone as high as 35 ft. we have alot of poplars around here.some pines.the rest have to many branches sans the hang-on idea.tree dia are usually around 12-16 in so im not sure about back cover.tried to find a clump of trees in order to give some cover.i was thinking about some of these oaks, gum and maple trees they have alot of limbs for bottom cover.i am suprised how expensive the hang-ons have gotten compaired to a climber.
