I am switching to hang on from a climber. I like the seat set up on the climber and want similar side support on my hang on. And aluminum and light. You guys know of anything that might fit what I am looking for.

What climber do you have now?

Best seat I've ever sat in on a locking stand would be a Millennium treestand. There sling style seats are very comfortable.

I have the M7 micro lite. Very light and small stand with a very comfortable seat. The only things Im not fond of is the bracket is heavy and the seat has no adjustment. But the way the seat is structured, it's not necessarily needed.

I have the biggest one they make, the bracket makes it easy to hang and level.

I agree. The bracket makes it so simple to set. I didn't explain further on that. I was using as a run and gun setup, so taking it down after every sit. In this instance the bracket was cumbersome. But if I was just setting in a permanent location, it's awesome to have the bracket.

A summit. I just want more flexibility on what trees I set up in.

Well there is a modification you can do. Remove all the bracket system they use and buy a 6 point offset bracket and bolt to the post. Of course you could find another brand that has it that way.

    Do you have a budget?

    If not check out Lonewolfcustomgear.com
They have 4 sized stands and offer a upgrade to a sling style seat. But be warned, they are extremely expensive. I have the .5 and love that little stand. What I'm currently using.

I’m good spending 300-400. I won’t use anything pricing because I hunt public and will lock it to a tree.

Buy extra tree mounts, public land rules require stands removed not brackets or steps.

Have checked out saddle hunting, no carrying in those heavy stands.

Not sure you will find anything as comfortable as that summit but I agree with holt, the Millinium seats are great. The bonus is that squirrels don’t seem to chew on those seats. I have had one in the same tree for probably 5 years and never removed and it as not been chewed on.

And…. It’s enormous. But very light. I think I will get a smaller one and be less comfortable.

M7 microlight. Plenty of stand to hunt out of.
