Handheld Release

    on hand held releases years ago and in the end it came down to me not using a proper j-hook grip of the release. Once you learn how to grip the release correctly. It comes down to getting the section of your finger that is holding the release perfectly flat to the release. don't grip the release deep! 1/2 fist the release should lay between the 1st & 2nd knuckle. ( count from the tip of finger in)

    oh, bee what bow are you using? with a Stan releases the head are short so you mite need to go 1/2" longer on the draw length.or go with a longer d-loop.

    I shoot an Elite Energy 35 @28in draw, will try a longer d-loop first.

    I shoot a Stan SX3 Heavy Metal and love it. I feel like the heavy release really helps me anchor better.
