Yea it's good to calibrate them every couple of days it seems like when you're using them a bunch, I don't know whey they need it. I'm glad you had much better luck with it this time, hopefully you will be able to enjoy it a little more now!

ya, just want to try the feature that lets you see the locations of other rino users. Hopefully some friends will get them. I just want to see how it works.

jferg, help me justify buying one! i really think it would be cool but not sure spending 4 bills on it is gonna get it done for me.

To be honest if you don't have friends or others that you hunt with that has Rino's I don't know that I could justify it for you. It is definetly nice having the gps and radio built into one but definetly makes the device bigger then normal. But the best feature is the ability to see where others are if they are using a Rino device. But it's only money so get one!

I used it again over the weekend and it most definetly works great if you aren't zoomed in as much as I was before. Only thing I am finding real annoying is I have a habit of throwing it in my bag when still on and the volume adjusts itself just from moving around in the bag. I wish they had a way to lock the keys.

Well I don't think that I need that spot marked since it is pretty easy to find. Just not sure how easy it would be to keep getting since I drew that permit in a lottery. And to be honest I liked the location in relationship to my house. Definetly beats all the other spots I hunt but not sure it is a spot I would want to hunt regularly.

Like I mentioned the location is great. Just not sure the quality of deer at this place is all that great but to keep drawing an early season permit would be great to keep putting a doe down to fill the freezer! I will definetly try for it again next year!
