When my father in law makes his hamburgers, he adds Ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, salad supreme, crushed up saltine crackers, and an egg to his meat when making his burgers. The amounts I do not know. But I will say one thing they are REALLY good haha.

I guess I'm just boring because I just sprinkle on salt and pepper while its cooking. Then I add cheese, tomato, onion, and mustard. I also like a Wendys #2 all the way. :)

Adding a little onion soup mix along with an egg to the meat is really good!

i chop some shallots, weber n'awlins and gormet burger seasoning ( just to taste), a few dashes of worchester sauce, and 1/2 shot of jack daniels. i also grill up some apple smoked thick cut bacon for toppers. i use charcoal without fluid and use the hickory or my favorite, mesquite bricks. i also use chiabatta bread (find them at wal mart) buns and prefer to use a monterey jack or smoked provolone cheese

Aw, what a timely thread... JUST took a dozen elkburgers up. 'Course, I barbecued mine with indirect heat instead of grilling... big difference.

Mmmm... I need to go get a napkin.

    beef, pepper, and salt

That is all a burger needs. No egg. No breadcrumbs. Nothing else.

Wow, I did NOT see that one coming. Who would have thought, I actually may be able to make something you could stomach.

I put a little grill seasoning in my meat (mix it in), then Kosher salt and finely cracked fresh black pepper on the outside. Grill mine and my 8 year old's till they are little pink in the middle. My wife and 10 year old like them well done.

I just made up some bison burgers this weekend. Added a bit of oatmeal to hold 'em together, onion and horseradish. Salt and pepper...YUM.

When I'm grinding up my venison for burgers I grind a couple pieces of bacon as well. Then i add minced Jalapeno and tiny cubes of cheese. They are delightful
