I hope to be tagged out before then, but how many of you have scored on a Halloween Buck? I have always thought it would be awesome to harvest one then. Pics would be nice if you have them.

I know I did last year. Halloween is a magical day in the woods around here. This was my 2nd deer with the bow and my first buck:

Missed my daughters first halloween last year due to work, this year it falls on a Saturday so i will get to take her...no hunting but who cares. Basically i won't be there so i need one of you to kill one for me and give me some credit in your thread. Maybe something like "I owe this all to Michael, without him trick or treating there is no way this deer would have shown before dark"...then depending on how big the deer is, I will decide if I want credit or not...you know to avoid a possible dissaproval by TMILL;)

Good luck to you and your daughter. My son and I will be trying to do the same. He's willing to give up the holiday for hopefully tagging his first buck. He is 9. There should be time to take him trick or treating after the hunt...unless he shoots one that night:D

    I've killed two on Halloween.

No digital picture of this buck from the field but I took him 10-31-99

And I took this buck below on Halloween last year 10-31-08

    I've got 2 halloweeners.

    Here's an old school one

My latest was the same day Scott killed his above. They score within an inch of each other too, if I'm not mistaken.
    Here he is

I will be hunting half the day on Halloween, before heading home to get the kids ready for trick-or-treating. I hope to see some action.
