I'm still new to the group here, low post count, but I've been reading here enough to know that some of you guys may appreciate the show on Sportsman Channel called Hallowed Ground Outdoors. I'm just curious what everyones thoughts were on it.

I watched it the other day and thought it was decent. Some of the videography and editing work is very good, but like a lot of other show's it's only the b-roll and interviews that stand out. The hunting footage in the field itself is only so-so.

Not being a super religious guy it was a wee bit preachy for me, but I'll continue to watch as the season progresses. I'm always intrugued by new shows and this looks like one of the better ones for this fall. Certainly better than "Hollywood Hunter".

I can agree that the hunting footage wasnt spectacular, but I also think that they were kind of giving a little heads up on where they want to go with the show. I believe there will be a little better hunting footage in later episodes.

I dont consider myself religious either, however, I am a believer and just from the time I have been following the forums here I know that most of you guys know that hunting isnt always about the kill. Its about the great outdoors, the majestic animals, the chase, and in the end the story. I feel that is a lot of what this show is about. I personally loved it.

I guess I havent caught Hollywood Hunter yet, and based on that comment probably never will.
