Good Day to all the Bow hunting forum members I would like to take the time to introduce myself as a new member to the forum. I am Professional Hunter and Outfitter Bossie Mostert from South Africa Limpopo province. I am the owner of Limpopo Big Game Safaris. I started Limpopo Big Game Safaris in 2007 and since then I have taken numerous clients on Safari. I am a passionate Bow hunter and have taken over 20 plains game species with Bow and Arrow. I have also guided bow hunters on the Big 5, successfully taking Lion, Buffalo and Elephant. Limpopo Big Game Safaris specialize in Rifle as well as Bow hunting. But for our Bow Hunters we offer unique Bow Hunting only concessions to hunt, all these Bow Hunting concessions are areas that has been free of gun powder for at least five years and longer. The only rifle used, is by the Professional hunter for Backup. I hope the journey with you all on this forum will be a pleasant one as with all the other Forums I am registered to. Africa has long been known as the world premier hunting and traveling destination, let us show you why. My kind regards to all the forum members Bossie Mostert Limpopo Big Game Safaris www.lbgsafaris.com [email protected]
Welcome to the site Bossie I'm hoping that you'll post photos of some of the creatures you hunt over there.
Thanks Guys Our first hunt for the 2012 season was for a Lion. We hunted in the North West Province. This was really an exciting hunt tracking the Lion for about eight hours before we found him. My client, Janus Smith took the shot from 12meters (10Yards). Fortunately the shot was good and we found the Lion down about 60yards further.
Welcome to the sight. Great pictures. I can't even begin to imagine how it would feel to drawback on a lion.
Hi Guys Thanks for all your welcome notes it’s great to be part of the family. Here is a picture of the Lion when we shot it, to be honest to all of you, It is quite an uncomfortable feeling being ten yards from a big male Lion and even more when your client has a Bow in his hands. Luckily it all worked out perfect and we found the Lion 60 yards further. Happy hunting For more information on Limpopo Big Game Safaris visit our website at www.lbgsafaris.com
Welcome to the site! Thanks for the pictures. Keep us updated on all your adventures. Maybe one day, I'll be down there to join you in one.
Thanks Paul I'll keep you updated on what is happening this side. Currently I am struggling to get a Leopard on bait and we will be hunting an Elephant from the 27th of this month. If you can one day you should really consider a hunt in Africa we manage some of the best Bow hunting concessions in the area and we do most of our South African Buffalo hunting next to the Kruger National Park; THIS IS a MUST SEE. I'll be hunting 2 Buffalo's with Bow and Arrow in June, 1 with a Longbow and the other with a Compound. I'll do a full report on both these hunts for you. Regards Bossie
