Amazing performance. I would be suprised if the Reds scored more than 4 runs during this 3 game sweep.

Clutch does not describe it. Howard and Utley go 0fer and halladay throws a no no. they are dangerous. Jeff, pretty cool to see a first in our life time huh!!!!! Always see the highlights of Larson's perfect game, but now we have witnessed our own version.

What a clutch play by ruiz to end it, that bat got in the way and he made the play from his knees.

I didn't get to watch the game, but the Phillies are going to be EXTREMELY tough to beat. Their top 3 is something that hasn't been seen since Maddux, Smoltz, Glavine. I would be surprised if they have any trouble making it to the World Series.

Just brought a tear to my eye, use to love to go see them pitch. Back then any game was a good one to see, always a horse throwing for the good guys.

I think your forgetting something. Halladay is the best in that rotation and cant pitch every game. The Reds lead about every statistic in the NL as far as batting goes. This series will go the distance I believe. Im sure the Reds will come out swinging in game 2.

The Reds will score some runs no doubt but I don't see them scoring enough against the great pitching Philly has. Awesome performance by Doc yesterday. It really didn't surprise me none though. Been watching this guy pitch awesome for many years while In Toronto.

The Phillies may not lose a game until the WS starts. Doc was unreal again yesterday. The guy is a stud.

Either your drunk or your blind loyalty to the Reds is clouding your judgement. No way this series goes the distance. I also understand the concept of the Ace of the rotation being the best pitcher on the team. It works that way for just about every other team in the league.

Yes the reds are good, but i think you are forgetting they also have a guy named Hamels and a guy named Oswalt...and their lineup is pretty decent too.

Sure sets up a good 1st game pitching duel, though (Giants/Phillies - probable starters).
