I had this buck hanging around my house this winter. I'd been hoping to come across his sheds. After talking to 3 of my great nieghbors, the gave me permission to walk all of thier land. I'd put in aprox. 8 hrs searching and come up with ZILCH! One day I said "No shed hunting tonight" and decided to go work with my dog. One of the times I threw the ball a little far across the road and it led my eyes to something my brain wouldn"t register! There it was 100yds from my house since Feb. 21st! The 4pt. side to this 4 1/2 yr old buck. Laying right in the yard of a vacant home next door!:nana:
First a few trail cam pics from behind my house.

By the way, the dates are wrong on the pics.

Congrats on the shed. Trying to find a certain buck's shed can be flustrating. Was a no go on two of the bucks I wanted to find the worst. Really great when you do find the sheds though !!

is it possible that a dog found it and dropped it in the yard? seems like you would have seen that!

I hadn't even considered that Kyle... It is possible but I had noticed quite a few tracks across that yard half way through the winter so thats what made me think he may have actually dropped it there. But we can never ASSUME anything!
