I shot a nice doe last night at sunset.the shot looked a little far back and the arrow stayed in the deer .I could see it because I have lighted nocks.I waited four hours before going after her not a drop of blood anywhere. This morning after 3 hours I found a spot where it must have lied down.Lots of hair but no blood.I'm gonna rest a little while and try again to find her but time is running out.I should have waited all night but the lighted nock was lit and I hoped it would lead me to her.

Looked for this deer for many hours today no luck.First time I've ever lost a deer very sad.Hard to believe there was no blood at all.Maybe I hit to high .How common is there no blood after a arrow hit?

How steep was the angle? Gut shots can plug up the entry hole leaving little blood.

No angle I was walking home from my stand .It was a thirty yard shot it looked good.I thought it might be a little back. She ran full speed away with the arrow in her.So I hoped it was lung hit but waited 4 hours to start tracking.I should have waited all night.I never found the arrow that would have helped a lot.
