This subject sucks. But it is a fact of life.

I'm 35 years old and have noticed a huge amount of hair loss in the last 6 months to a year. It's getting to the point where not only is my hairline receding it's getting pretty thin on top as well. As my dad used to say all of the time -Getting old is hell.

What is your current hair situation? Are you one of the lucky ones that have a full head of hair in your older days? Have you tried any hair loss treatments? Have they worked?

I'm thinking that if I don't do anything I'm only a couple of years away from having to shave my head. No disrespect to anyone but I refuse to look like this guy.

I have a thick head of hair at 49. I kept it shaved anyway until the last couple years. Hair is no big deal to me but I would definitely gid rid of the horseshoe if I had one.

It sounds like you're already there. Start shaving it now, or at least keep it very short (clippers with no guard, maybe a 1 if you're a wuss).

I have a full head of luscious hair, that I chose to keep very short. I honestly don't care if I do end up going bald. Just less hair I would need to cut. I can pull off the shaved head look.

You know you're getting old when you don't care if your hair is falling out. LOL

Don't know what to say, just shy of double nickles and a full head of hair.

If I keep my hair cut short, it's still tolerable. If I let it grow out at all that is when it looks really bad.

I'm not sure if I can pull off the bald dude look but I may have no choice. Is it possible for me to get any uglier? :D

My hair is getting thinner but I made it into my 50's (55). Now I don't care. It's one thing less I'll have to deal with. I will not use any treatments, hair dye or beard and mustache dye. I earned my lack of hair and any gray's that I have. Using treatments and dyes is a kin to make up on dudes. I refuse to go there.

My hair began graying at 18, and my hairline began receding at the wonderful age of 21. Now at 28, it is in a full on recession. I keep my hair relatively short. I really do not care about my baldness. Just one less thing to worry about in the morning. I think of it has freedom.

Going on the ripe old age of 32 now, and still a full head of hair. My old man was balding by his mid 20's, so I'm hopeful that I will be able to hang onto most of it for a while longer. When the time comes I have no problem breaking out the clippers. I'd do it now if it weren't for my wife nagging me to keep it while I've got it.

Define short. You can't decide if it still looks tolerable, and you probably can't trust a wife. They might lie to protect your feelings. You have to ask your best male friends, the ones that aren't still trying to hold on, too. They will let you know.

Too many guys hold on too long, and most say "it doesn't look that bad". Yes it does.

I'm not worried about losing any hair. It will go grey long before I start to lose it, at least thats what I think.

It's short. Not quite crew cut length. I'm probably holding out too long in Vito's world.
