Had to Put Down My Dog Today

Sorry for the loss Cody. They are some amazing animals that we get very attached to and it sounds like Coby lived a long and wonderful life.

 

No fun at all, sorry to hear the news. Dogs truly are mans best friend.

 

Very sorry for your loss. Some things only time can help and sometimes time is a slow helper. I hope the sorrow will pass quickly, but the memories remain forever.

Had to put my 1st K9 partner down 2 weeks ago. Nothing hurts worse than putting a faithful friend down...Sorry for your loss..

 

Thanks everyone! He really did live a great life. There were several times when he would get sick, or need a surgery in the last several years that I thought he wasn't going to make it. When he got lost a couple months ago and we found him 10 miles down the road, I thought for sure he was a goner. I honestly don't know how he didn't become bear food on that excursion cause he walked right through prime bear habitat. After he came out of that ordeal alive I was actually beginning to think he might just live forever! It was tough, but he lived a good life and was my right hand man from childhood into adult-hood, so I really don't have too much to complain about. I am just thankful for the memories with Coby!

 

Sounds like he had a great life. Sorry to hear about you having to put him down.
