This seems too far. A handwarmer muff with a flip open lid and plastic viewing window so you can keep texting without getting your fingers cold. Our gear used to give us the best shot at getting a deer, now it aims to make us more comfortable texters. LOL.

As ridiculous as it sounds to us, someone is going to make a ton of money off of this idea. I really do prefer spending my time hunting actually.... well..... hunting.

Your absolutely right...its a genius idea. I can now see some people sitting for two hours and never taking their eyes off their phone.

Every once in a while I see someone asking what games or other entertainment folks take with them to pass the time while on the stand. I can't help thinking "Really?" How many deer have materialized in front of you like they beamed down from the Enterprise even though you were paying close attention? I've watched deer in "stealth mode" walk through a thick carpet of newly fallen leaves and not make a sound. What to people expect to happen when they're whiling away the hours playing some game on their phone? Like I said above and like I've said on here before, when I'm hunting, I hunt.

great idea, but a tad bit silly. I take a cell phone with me when hunting, but only for time checks, and in case of emergency. i go to the woods, to get away from social media, email, texts, etc. I have been out about 10 days this year thus far, haven't seen much, but i breathe fresh air, and get to see nature. i consider myself lucky.

I have a texty handwarmer thingy. It's awesome. I don't text a lot but I'm often hunting at the same property as some of my friends and we keep in contact. Ask for help dragging, when to meet up for lunch. Beats the heck out of rooting around in a pocket for the phone and then freezing your digits while texting. :D

I've got one. I don't go on my phone to often, but it does keep my hands warm.

Warmer, faster, less movement... seems like a good idea to me.

I thought about it until I saw they were $25. Not terrible but also not worth it when I already have a normal handwarmer muff.

Great idea except that I'd be willing to bet that little plastic window will get fogged up within a minute or two. Think about it, you have warm air on the inside and cold air on the outside - any moisture is going to condense on the inside of the window. Maybe on those extremely dry, cold mornings it wouldn't be a problem but any amount of moisture in the air I would think would render the window useless.
