trail camera stolen... Went to check my cameras today and went to a new property that I am going to hunt this year that I have had a camera or two on since April. Well I had moved all my cameras but one off the property because I suspected it might be getting some foot/ATV traffic. Lucky for me it was the oldest/worst camera in my fleet - still a $250 Bushnell, it wasn't functioning as new - working like a 3 year old camera. I guess they needed it more than me. A lot of bleeping low lifes in this world...
like my dad used to say i hate a thief and a liar, there is no difference between them. get a rope and a tall oak tree.
Horrible helpless feeling when people steal from you. It's a joke that people can do it with no remorse. I just set me new covert up on my food plot and it will be 9 days till I check it again. If its stolen I think I would be more pissed that I lost the pics it took but still mad the camera was gone too ha ha!!!
I was a victim twice last season.....as well as a treestand that I had built for my father for Fathers Day a few years ago(God rest his soul) I have found that if you can get your cams about 10 ft up a good sized tree, they are out of reach and usually out of sight.

Yeah I guess I am inclined to give people the benefit of the doubt and I really shouldn't be so naive. I walked right to the tree that I "thought" I put it on and looked up and down the tree like, "what the hell is going on"? I walked up and down that trail thinking maybe I had lost my mind and put it on another tree - not the case, it was on the tree I thought it was and someone picked her clean. So goes it - still not happy about it but I will pray for them in church on Sunday. Like I said, they really need it more than me if they have to steal it. My hunting season will go on with or without that damn camera.
Ive been lucky so far I guess...Still have not had one go missing. I have had 2 tampered with but they lived to tell me the story.

I can put up with it ,it's just the kid thing I'm worried about. Do not our moderaters have justice to quash verbal bashing as in the "above mentioned"???? Rocky
