Started the weekend off watching two of my best friends get married, which was really an awesome experience. Kind of makes you change your own opinion towards the subject at my age, seeing the love they have for one another.

Now, no more sappy stuff :haha

The groom and bride decided they wanted to relax the following day by trout fishing, so we spent our sunday together in the streams at Meramec State Park in St. James, MO. The water was up, and very murky. We usually limit out pretty quickly, but it was a struggle that day, and I only caught two fish all day. That ended up being okay because my second fish was this monster 10347510_10201969842029825_8067994068735086729_n.jpg

He ended up being 5.5 pounds and 23 inches long. My first lunker. One of my bucket list goals completed.

How many others trout fish, and/or fly fish?

Love to trout fish here. Its one of my favorite things to do. Nothing beats a relaxing day on the lake or stream.

Agreed! Trout fishing is up there with bowhunting for me, especially fly fishing. Never tried it on a lake though.
