I love my Lone Wolf hang-on and sticks so much I have not used my climber more than a couple times in the last couple years... Preprepped stand sites take less than 10 minutes. Worst case 20 minutes... The more you use the system the better it works for you, and the easier it gets. I like to hunt staging areas within close proximity of the bucks bedding area. I have found it best to get in quiet and early. I take my time and make sure I am quiet. All of my gear and my jacket are bungeed onto the stand. I go up and down for the sticks with slow movements. I have often watched bucks rise from there beds within shooting range... For me being quiet and setting the stand up is a pc of cake. But I have been doing that for many years. Taping the buckles with clothe tape and adding two pc's where the seat casting contacts the platform will stop alot of noise... I found that after a couple seasons of Dan abuse, my stands were starting to shine in a spot or two. So I went to Walmart and picked up some camo spray paint. I picked up all 4 colors that they had and went from lightest to darkest when applying. I started with tan and picked a few ferns and sprayed over the leaves using them as a template. Then stepped up to the next color and a different leaf typ... You get the point. The paint also made the stand increadably silent.. Not to say it aint already increadably silent. But now it even seems to absorb metal to metal contact very well. A little camo clothe tape around the seat casting where it contacts the platform and I can sneak right into the big buck bedroom while they sleep. I took the pic's in a way so those of you who are having issues figureing out how we conect the sticks can use em for refferance for that also. The far stand is my hand climber... Notice the quicky quiver mount on the side frame  They only cost a few bucks and keep your arrows ready at your side, instead of in the way on the sdide of your bow, or swinging and dropping off a limb or hook.
I timed myself - took me 7 minutes to hang 4 sticks and climb into a stand that I already had hung this morning. Hanging the stand probably wouldn't have taken me more than 3 extra minutes if I had to do it, so I guess 10 minutes is reasonable. That's with no trimming of lanes though, which would take a few extra minutes if need be.
I don't normally trim lanes but the beauty of the sticks is, once you get your stand up you can eyeball your lanes, climb down the "ladder", trim the lanes and climb back up in a matter of minutes with no real extra exertion.
No problamo for me, just get your routine down then it really comes darn easy. I could get to the top of a tree with stick and stand faster than with a climber any day.
Sorry but to climb up 23' feet or over you need more than 4 sticks. I have been doing this since the first sticks have come out. My hunting partner and myself use atleast 5 but more like 6 to seven sticks to get up out of the whitetails view. Set the stands and leave 2 sticks.
The times I do use my Lone Wolf sticks and Lone Wolf Assault it takes me just over 10 minutes. Seriously and I am 54 years old. What helps me is the fact after hanging the 3 sticks and sometimes screw in 2-3 steps, I carry my stand on my back and while on the top 2 steps, I wriggle one arm and then the other arm out of the backpack straps. Hanging is a little tricky because I don't use the Ezy hang hook. But by keeping one arm under the cable(s) and throwing one strap around the tree its very easy and simple when attaching the other strap. Works for me. When I use a climber its my Lone Wolf sitnclimb, but for scraggly trees and tight places its the sticks/Assault.
I did the hang and hunt thing today for the first time EVER. It was basically a train wreck. You definitly need to do it a few times to get your routine down. BUT, it took me no more that 15 minutes, once I found the tree I wanted.
good thing we have these things today, I have a great of things in my arsenal. I have a Lone Wolf Sit & Climb. Lone wolf Alpha and Sticks, Some strap on pegs (aluminum not plastic) that I use with a Lone Wolf Tree Seat (that I use to stand on) with a tree saddle, and I have another 15 stands that I leave out all season. But I find that any if the setups I choose, LONE WOLF IS THE WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
