Looking to get a gun safe now that I've got a more mobile son. He can't get to the basement yet but just want to get it bought sooner than later.

Tons of brands out there but which should I look for, or shy away from?

    Best place to purchase?

Looking for something that can store long guns on one side, shelf on top for ammo and misc. gear and one side where I can store file folders for my important farm papers.

I have a Canon and while it was to big when I bought it...….
it must have shrunk, 'cause there isn't enough room in it now.

Pick the one you need and then buy the next size bigger.
Costco has some great prices. Watch and compare.

Never heard anyone complain their gun safe was too big unless they were trying to move it. Pretty much everyone I know complains about their safe suddenly becoming too small.

I got mine at scheels and it is a scheels branded safe, much better price than the browning ones, hold like 41 guns? Mine is set up just like you wanted, guns on one side, files on the other, ammo and clips on top, handguns in the door.
