Yep, life member and leveled up a couple times to who knows which one I'm at.

I gave up when I realized an ultimate win is not in their best interest as an organization.

If SCOTUS was to come out with an absolute ruling in their favor that put an end to any and all future regulations they would be moot from that point forward.

    They would cease to exist.

The courts is where my attention goes to for 2A issues these days, luckily Judges/Justices do not accept nor seek public donations.

Those that appoint them however, I do take issues with.

Fear mongering aside...it's not paranoia if you're right. The NRA is a pretty good get out the vote getter if nothing else.

As for me, when a group of very power hungry people say that if only you give us all the power-

    • We will take guns away
    • We will end the filibuster
    • We will stack the Supreme Court
    • We will designate the NRA as a terrorist organization

I will choose to believe them.

At that point, they would have control over both Legislative branches, the Oval Office, and the SCOTUS. They would also have complete access to:
    • the NRA's entire mailing and membership lists
    • any bank/financial records pertaining to any current/past NRA memberships
      • (the lawsuit in New York is expressly designed to obtain those records; under the guise of victim re-compensation for the NRA's "fraud")
    • the entire ATF 4473 database (names and home addresses of every FFL transaction...ever)

hmmm....wonder what they would do with all that power, and all that data.
