Check out the hole I put in this doe last Saturday.

I'm guessing she lifted her head from grazing at the last minute, got her ear pierced, the bullet started expanding, and whammo.

Shot @ 3:45 she was with 2 bucks that walked out after she dropped!! I reloaded my muzzleloader and looked through the scope just in time to see a 6pt walking away. From now on the first thing I will do after shooting a ML is reload. Whether I hit the deer or not. When I took the shot, the smoke kinda lingered and through the smoke I could see her get knocked right down. I saw her legs go up and her tail as she rolled onto her back. As I watched I saw movement and at this time she was laid down so all the white had vanished. So I was thinking there she goes. That's when I realized she had a 4pt and a 6pt with her in the brush. They came out and walked around her. That's when I realized what was happening and started reloading. Too late though.

Also not a deer, but one of my favorite gun kills. My partner wasn't too thrilled.

835 Ulti-Mag, kinda regretted shooting the buck as he was young and had some potential and he only had about 3 weeks of season left to survive. Even more bummed when we found him the right side was broke(or shot off), we didn't see it anywhere. There were some other deer and I'd have rather shot a big doe than him but it happened kinda quick and you can't take that buckshot back.

Shot this big 6pt November 9!! My biggest buck to date! Saw him chase a doe into thick brush, got all mad because I thought I lost my chance. Popped a couple of grunts and sat back down, a minute later her popped his head out and I let my .308 Savage do it's job!

Here is my deer after I cleaned the skull and whitened it serving as our Christmas tree decoration!

    Great deer, everyone!

This guy was shot this morning at 8:45 by my nephew who came home this year from the service. He was using the Savage with smokeless powder (only ML designed for smokeless powder) and powerbelt bullet ..the bullet broke up and lodged in the off side shoulder

Tony here is the buck I shot in Iowa with Justin's Savage 20 gauge slug gun. He scored 168" and field dressed at 187 pounds. I shot him at 138 yards on film :)

Tony they are going to run both hunts on the Sportsman channel so they dont want us showing it before hand. Let me see if I can get a sneak peak of the shot to you some how.
