Tagged out in 2G this year. Could have shot this guy with my bow as he was 25yds broadside in the doe bedding area I SWORE would be hot during archery season (turns out I was a little late on the timing). Not more than two minutes later, a MUCH bigger 10 came through at 50yds unaffected. Figures. Oh well, great season for me.

My daughters first, 80 yards with her .243. Perfect heart shot. I couldn't be more proud.

She's 8, she'll be 9 next month. Emily's my pride and joy, I hope everybody can experience the excitement that she and I did when we walked up on her deer. There's not a dollar amount you could put on it.

Finally broke my curse, also learned the buck I leg shot opening weekend was taken last week on the neighboring property. Hit it in the knee

She's smaller than the freezer, but whether she's topping it off or filling it up doesn't matter to me. Took forever to get the first of the deer season.

Although not pictured with the one deer, both were taken with the 44 mag contender. One about 65-70 yds, the other at 30 yds.

I got a doe on opening day and this guy on 11/26. He is my best one ever I hunted him all season .I had a chance with the bow but he ran just as I got to full draw. Two more seconds and I would have had him. But it is still sweet to shoot him at 125 yards with the .06 DSC00960.jpg DSC00959.jpg DSC00958.jpg DSC00961.jpg
