iirc, this proposal came from a Rep on the south side of chicago after a kid was gunned down... another liberal moment of clarity and using a tragedy to further their political cause...
Only a government with ulterior motives, and, who doesnt trust its people- would want them dis-armed. You want me to conform to HR:45, than I have an HR45 that they can "conform" to....
People must be armed, when they can't trust their government! That is what the 2nd amendment is all about. President Obama is a left-wing liberal from the state of Chicago. IL has some of the toughest gun control laws on the books. I sometimes travel to the Chicago and when I cross the Mississippi river I have to drop my clip, eject a shell, put my 9 in a case and store the clip elsewhere. What should I do if I'm carjacked? Hit them in the head with the case?
well, I wouldn't worry TOO much about it.... I heard the SCOTUS is taking up two 2nd amend cases related to Chicago Gun Laws... the early predictions are a defeat for King Richard and his court...
I get to pick this up next week. I have been waiting for months. http://www.taurususa.com/product-details.cfm?id=599&category=Revolver&breadcrumbseries=&search=judge
Yes, it shoots .410 and .45 long colts. I already have boxes of shells and as soon as I pick it up my wife and I will be putting some down range. Currently I have the 4 pellet buckshot but I am going to try some different shells to see how they pattern at close range. They have 2 different models, 2.5" and 3" chamber. You will likely get the 3" (IMO the better model) as I don't think they shipping much of the 2.5" any more due to lack of demand.
Let that "Judge" deside the case. There was revolver called the "Thunder Five". It shot .410 or .45 L/C, you could buy an additional cylinder chambered in .45/70. I don't remember who manufactured it; I believe they went out of bussiness.
http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/blairholt.asp that email has some discrepancies. as in you will not have a 50 dollar per gun tax and you will not have to list out your firearms. you just have to have a liscense to own a weapon with a detachable magazine, and any firearms transfers must be done by a dealer, to prevent the system from failing.
