Funny but no, fender makes me mad with trying to come up with a new twist on the same guitar three times a year and call in NEW!!

I will get some pics of it tomorrow, I bought it with the orig fender tolex case for 400 bucks getting it ready for new nitro paint and trying to find a few factory tuners for the neck. It needs some tlc but good project for this cold weather.
someone pro re-routed with a custom humbucker pickup and did a great job on it,but painted with a spay can punkrock style so im going to give it a makeover. The neck is a work of art and has a torres stamp of approval witch is rare in itself i am told. correct number serial plate that matches neck stamp so i am fairly happy with the purchase.

so far i stripped the body and resealed in clear nitro lacquer paint going back with the feista red that came on it.

I had a Bronco. Single pickup. I paid $90 for it in a tweed case, when I was about 13.

    Of course I sold it.

Thats what we all did when we knew no better Jeff. I had a friend who traded a 57 Strat "original" with tweed case for a half ounce of um, "oregano".

That's the only instrument I wish I still had. And, it's not because of the $$. It was just a sweet guitar.

Buddy of mine bought a Mustang about the same time. It was lime green!....lol He re-finished it to the wood grain, and it was a sweet guitar, also. He sold it for about nothing, too.

We were all young and dumb, once.
