ran across this deal, $80 Epiphone Valve Jr all-tube practice amp... pretty good deal on this little guy, decent tube sound in a nice compact and inexpensive package... http://www.guitarcenter.com/BCD-2010-12-07-EpiphoneValve-g25816t0.gc
its not a bad deal, but i think fender has practic amps that are bigger and maybe only a few bucks more. one thing about an amp, take your guitar and try it out if possible
Thats a better practice amp than anything fender makes under 300 bucks. One knob. Dime it. It reminds me of an early 60's fender champ with a bit more mid range. A good amp for single coil guitars. Jmho
if i didnt already have a boatload of practice amps i would be all on it! lol I am tossing up getting another new ESP or a new head.
I bought my son a 12 string electric guitar for $280 off ebay and it turns out only 500 made and worth about $2500. If this works check him out play his 6 string: (Logon in first then put this link if you have FB) http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/profile.php?id=100000056746800
Not at this time but last year he was in one and they won a battle of the bands at his school which was cool for them.He is in 8th grade and prez of the music program and other son who is in 4th grade plays the snare drum this year so im one proud father. I love when the 2 get together on stage that we built in our garage and jam. We also have a full drum set that they both play.
IF ya'll are ever down this way or if my band is up that way we will hook up, maybe we can get him on stage or something
