Believe me I would love to check my cams but I work part time at a fab shop, full time at a water treatment plant, I'm a reserve firefighter and I also help farm . Mix family time in there doesn't leave a lot of time to check cams but I think it's a good thing keeps me out of the woods. They all know come the week before Halloween I drop down to about 40 hours a week till I'm done hunting lol
We have that big hurricane coming my way and will basically be sitting on us until like Monday or Tuesday. I'm headed to go pull a couple a cams that are in my creek bottoms tomorrow after i get off work that have the potential of getting flooded. 10-20 inches of rain in our area is what they are expecting. Hopefully family and friends around here stay high and dry! You guys pray for Texas this weekend!
Let us know how they work out. I've been curious about those and those radix Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
We are supposed to get some rain from that early next week. Stay safe down there! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Will do! The one thing I can say about the SpyPoint cams so far is that they seem to be well made. The quality of the materials seems really decent and not cheap like some cameras. On the downside to being well made, they seem to be more bulky than other cameras I've used. Another thing is that I like that they have the viewing screen on most of their cameras. That's a cool feature when setting up in my opinion. I don't know how many times I've set up a camera, came back 3 weeks later and realized that it's positioned wrong. The last thing I'll mention is that they are pretty easy to setup and have a bunch of setup options like a video/pic hybrid option that takes a pic before the video comes on. When I get some experience with em I'll let you know about the pictures! Also if you're interested in Radix I'd talk with Boonerville. He's on their staff and has a ton of experience so far with em!
I'm a full time College student so the busiest time of the year for me is in October and December. Thankfully I graduate in May. I haven't been able to check my trail cams, but im hoping to go sometime in the next few weeks. I still have to put my tree stands up so I pretty much don't have a choice to go in the next few weeks.
We are rowing the same canoe brother! Not in college but work is slammed. This big project I'm working on will end by Labor Day. Then at least I'll get a break for few months which is sweet for hunting season but I literally have anxiety about not being able to prep this year. I have a plan for an emergency last minute plan of action this year. I had to outsource my scouting lol. Overall Im having to cut a few corners and won't have a few setups that I'd like to have but next year I hope to be lined out! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Please do! I've heard a few good things so far and nothing too negative Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
At least you'll get decent time to hunt. I'm a science major so im almost always studying for some test each week. I usually only hunt one day a week and I already know at least 4 of those days are going to mean only half day hunts till 1 or 2 pm.
Enjoy school for what it is. You have plenty of seasons left in you. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm an environmental science major, so im always taking physics, chemistry, biology, Ochem, Geology and EnSci classes.
Fun stuff! I work in healthcare and the end of the year is always busy. Everybody that has their deductibles paid want to have some procedure or surgery that they have been putting off. Between call and having my daughter every other weekend I don't have tons of free time. Thankfully OH has a very long season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm actually on a pre-med track so im hoping to go down that route. If Only I was driving when I still had free time during freshman year lol.
