Okay just got back from doing an event for new hunters that my archery club hosts once a year. I spoke mainly about shot placement while other members spoke about other aspects of hunting. I'm thinking of going up sometime this week to check my trail cam's, but we'll see if I actually do that. I'm really excited to say the least!
And your team could of been named Culling Patrol since you'll probably use that excuse to shoot some yearlings!
Fortunately Wisconsin's DNR thinks that we have a lot of deer so I have 3 doe tags. I'm gonna practice some self control this year and hold off for a shooter.......Hopefully!
They are in two different counties. They gave me two with my buck tags in one of the counties and I purchased a private one in a different county.
These are a few from my place this year. The 3rd pic, the back left deer is going to be the one to go for this year...he had a ways to go still in the growing phase and looked like he a ways still to go.
Those are some great bucks! Especially that one you plan to go after. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here is a few projects from the off season. The standing map reading desk isn't done I've just searching for some ideas to complete it. Probably get some metal art for the front..My wife couldn't Care less about this stuff, so I figure i'd share with other deer nerds.
I didn't have very good cell signal where I was hunting so I'm going to have to catch up. Last day of hunt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have my Larger racked deer in the finished part of the basement. I have a 2 head mounts, but I much prefer the euro mounts. I like that you can pick up the rack look at it and such.
