Great job on the doe! I had one at 7 yards yesterday morning but she only gave me a straight down shot so I elected to pass on her. I did get to check a few cards on my way out and have yet to see any mature bucks on their feet during daylight on my properties. I will probably wait to go back out until the next cold snap. I attached a video clip of the #1 buck I am after this year. He won't help the team much score wise but he is the oldest deer on either two of my properties this year so far. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1253335824772484
She's pretty small, but points on the board at least. Now it's time to focus on a buck or a 1.5/2.5 year old for that comes by. I'm thinking It must have lost its mother sometime ago since it's so small and had almost no fat on it. These deer on his property always have inches of fat on them (yes even the fawns are life's with fat) because of all the apples and other soft mast we have all around. Thats a beast alright. Thanks for the update. Just a matter of time. Good Job AT! Time for a big Buck!
My buck from last year is all finished and ready to come home and live with his new friends on my wall. I can't wait for my next taxidermy bill next year! Lol
Awesome looking buck! I always love when I have a taxi bill at the end of a year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've decided I'm going out this weekend but I am not looking forward to doing my hunting laundry tonight.
But its worth it. Are you guys using any kind of Ozone product? I think it makes a big difference. I can't see myself hauling a unit out to hunt with but its nice for keeping your gear squared away.
