I thought about this earlier when teams were drawn but didn't know what people would think lol. I'm game! Sorry for getting a late response back. I'm crazy busy out of town for work right now. PM me so you can get my number bud
Ok so I haven't really been doing anything hunting related other than shooting my bow. Yesterday my organic chem class was cancelled so i decided to go out fishing. Caught some sea Robin a small fluke and one nice bluefish. Don't know if any of you are familiar with these fish but they're all neat fish. The blues are more aggressive than pike and musky and way more numerous. The small fish is the fluke I got and the big fish is the blue. He blue I got on a popper which is a giant 7 inch and 3 oz topwater lure so they really crush the lure when they hit it. Didn't get a pic of the sea robins, but they're a really neat/weird looking fish. I would check it out if I was you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thats great, everything happens for a reason. Its sounds like the new house will be a good fit. I closed on my house during the last week in October 3 years ago. Killed my biggest buck to date the following week. I hope you have similar results.
Thats great, I bet that bluefish put up a good fight. I'm guessing the fluke was to small to keep? The only thing I remember about O chem is studying flash cards all the time. Good luck!
One of he best fighting fish we have for it's size. It will fight till he very end with out giving up once. The prizes Striped bass fight well, but are known for giving up after a little while and then making one last run before you land it. You are also correct about the fluke. It was about 13" and the size limit is 19". Keepers are far and few between in that area and to be honest, the fluke fishing from shore has been piss poor this year for some reason. Ya it seems like it's going to be a rough class so I've been systematically studying for it so I don't fall behind Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've added all to the Group on the team name Guardians of the Timber who have sent me PMs. Let me know if you have any questions!
Guys don't take this the wrong way but I'm going to drop off the GroupMe thing. Didn't download the app and I'm just getting blown up by text. I'll stay in touch via the forum. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
If you download the app you can turn off notifications for the app. That way your phone won't be blowing up. Your call.
Yea I turned all notifications off from the start. The only time I see any new texts is when I open the app. Simple fix blarney Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Two weeks away for me!!!! As it gets closer my mind is having a hard time focusing at work. Can't wait to be up at camp
^^ It's so consuming.... a couple guys I work with understand. One other guy and me are sick with it. We struggle to stay on task at work cause we are constantly picking each other's brains and keeping each other updated on each other's progress. The cool thing is this guy is foreign. He moved here about 15 yrs ago and I got him into this about 10 yrs ago. Now I'd have to say he's just as knowledgeable and successful as me. Makes me feel good I was able to pass it on. He's a foreigner but became a citizen and he bleeds red white and blue. Damn guy has a John Wayne belt buckle. Hell I don't even have one of those Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
