Where you guys all from I'll start my name's Ryan I live in North West ohio and have 4 different farms/woods I hunt. I work at a water plant. Here's a picture of my number 1 buck I'm after. This was last year.
I live in Southeast WI and hunt South Central WI on a 40 acre parcel. I just checked my cams for the first time yesterday and have several 2.5yo running around on camera, one possible shooter right now. The big guys don't usually show up until the rut on this parcel so just need to be patient. Have does by the dozen, always have a hard time finding one without a fawn though.
Name is Brandon. I live in southwestern Illinois. 30 mi east of St Louis. I hunt public along the Mississippi River and have 205 acres of private 10 min from the house. I also hunt my uncles 100 farm that borders the Shawnee National Forest down in Southeast Illinois. Look forward to sharing the season with you guys. Win lose or draw it's gonna be a blast. Oh yea I'm also a diehard waterfowler so some of my check ins might be from the duck blind instead of the stand. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
My name is Keith... You guys can call me KJ (Keith Jr) .. I'm from south east Texas. I have a 900 acre lease I'm on in east Texas and I also hunt some family owned land along with permission from neighbors in Oklahoma (111 acres) . Like Brandon I was/still am a avid duck hunter. I used to be a diehard before I fell in love with bow hunting 3 years ago so I'll be checking in from the duck blind occasionally myself!
I'm in the process of moving into my home this week I just purchased but I do have a couple of my hit list bucks to share. So bare with me this wk and I'll post some pictures when I can!
That's pretty awesome to have a Texan on our team. When does the action peak down there Keith? Could make for some good late season point opportunity for the team?? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Eh it depends on how hot things are usually. Where I'm at is pretty much on point with the rest of the country. I'm on the border of TX/La ...We will start seeing a lot of bucks showing up end of October making scrapes and rubs. Our rut is usually mid-end of November. Now if you go south west It pushes to December for their rut.
Ok just making sure cause I didn't see my name on the list anymore as far as the help goes... if two bad shots equal a good shot then I gotcha covered! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
When's everyone's season start? Ours starts oct 1. I'm pretty excited about this upcoming year. I've got a little 50 acre honey hole that was great last year and is only getting better. Plus my buddy has a lease in Missouri that we'll be heading to in Nov. brought this buck home from there last year. I also have another 600 acres near my home I have access to hunt. Plus my family's land a few minutes away. Like the others I LOVE to chase waterfowl. By far my favorite thing to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So we are still missing quite a few. I'm sure it's cause they don't have time to check in cause they're busy hanging stands, clearing lanes, mowing foodplots, checking cams, and naming all the giant bucks they are getting pics of. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Just wanted to post a quick intro. I live in North central Ohio. I too enjoy waterfowl hunting. I don't do as much as I use to since I'm currently without a dog. I do most of my deer hunting on about 230 acres of private ground. I haven't seen my target buck since January. I have a few with potential but I typically don't have much this time of year. Here's a couple I've seen around so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
