Here is one I'm watching with great interest. He has some character in his small and young rack. I was hoping he would get bigger and develop some more character in his rack but he hasn't changed much. He's a twelve point now but still very small. Time will tell. Last year. He's not that big, it's just the picture. Sadly his rack didn't change that much. Hopefully he will blow up in a year or two(if he survives). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You guys have any antler restrictions where you are? Ours is a 13" inside spread minium or you can take a spike or buck with at least one unbranched antler. Where I hunt in Oklahoma there are no antler restrictions.
In Ohio it starts last weekend of Sept. To Feb. 4th I think with 1 week of gun then 2 bonus days and 3 days of muzzleloader
One zone in Minnesota has Antler Point Restrictions. A buck has to have 4 points on one side. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
In general the guys around me hunt for Quality but there is definitely some "kill them all" that goes on during gun season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They say 13" spread is just usually outside the ears. Pretty much if they are inside the ears it is illegal regardless of the rack size.
One of the places I hunt has an AR of 3 points on one antler to be a legal buck. I wish they would extend that to the whole state. The best property I hunt isnt in that AR, but there are many reasons why that property produces good deer. One of the main reasons is all the orchards around it and that no one can really hunt the surrounding area.
Shocker99, just saw your post in the what did you buy today thread. You went and broke the bank, holy man.
I just scored a 12 pack of Easton fmj for 75 dollars! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
