I have no idea. I'm still getting points for a tag. But no matter what, I'm getting pics of them this season.

Pretty cool, but I'm glad I don't have to worry about them.

Well my history of running would be..... I had a couple friends that were running in the woods on the ice age trail in the eastern part of the state and I started running with them about 7 years ago. I've always being running around. I was a strong runner in high school, and played basketball. Since I started trail running i've completed a couple 50k's this past june I did the title town ultra marathon and completed 62 miles in 15 hours of running. That's my farthest run. I've done like 3 mudders with friends. I really would rather not road run, but I will if I have to. I ran a great deal in the ARMY so I was use to putting in miles. Running is just an escape for me and I love running in the Kettles with my dog. Trail running and running in general is mental just one foot in front of the other. Anyways I guess that would be my history as far as running. Not sure if any of you are runners or on Strava but if you are PM me and i'll add you to my friends also anyone runs trails in the sheboygan, fond du lac, or washington county area hit me up. If you run in your state with a club or anthing let me know. Some buddies and I may make a trip of it and pound some trails for a few days. Normally I don't get into this, but you asked. I attached a picture of my running buddy.

Beautiful pups you guys! My daughter is allergic to most any hunting/tracking breed so we have 2 useless hypo-allergenic poodle mixes.lol One day I'll have me another lab to fetch my birds and find me some sheds. I just don't want to confine to an outdoor kennel 100% of the time. On another not I decided to burn a day this Friday to get some sets hung and lanes trimmed. We may put in a few strip plots. The landowner is transitioning from a Crp nesting program to a wildlife tree program which is awesome because it allows for more foodplots and deer management practices but the slow ass state of Illinois is dragging their feet on letting us know what we can do this year. Oh well I just can't wait to hang from a tree and watch the colors change and the leaves fall. I'm sensing a spectacular season with you guys!

Drove by a sign this weekend that said "free pears". I went back tonight and filled up a bag. Those trees make a hell of a mess. The tree was loaded so It looks like I will have a good source of deer pears for awhile.

Thanks! All it takes is an old mountain bike. Strip it down. Paint it. Put it back together. Add a new seat and chain. Add front and back racks and you're done! :tu:

I'm going to ask you guys and see what you think of this deer. I Was looking at our deer pictures from last year to this year to see if we can notice any of the bucks from last year and stumbled upon this guy. The pic on the left is last yr and the pic on the right is this year. Do you think this is the same buck? Characteristics are almost identical minus the size difference. Maybe just had a little more velvet in the pic we caught him last year?

Yea that's what I thought. Sure doesn't seem like he's going to amount to much  ... Figured you'd see him at least a little bigger this year. But the no brow tine and shape of the horns pretty much gives it away to me. Bummer... Oh well I got bigger ones on the lease to go after!

I have had a few that have never really grown much. Could be that they are relatively young and just need a little more age. I don't think every buck has unlimited potential to grow into some massive 200 incher.
