I have officially drank the Kool aid and joined the Lone Wolf cult. I just ordered a Lone Wolf Alpha II. It will look good next to the Sumitt Viper I never use in my basement . I actually bought the sticks last year to assist with attaching the straps to my ladder stands. So now I have the complete set.

That's great! I think Lone Wolf makes the best products on the market hands down. I personally use XOP products. There are a few things I prefer on them rather than the Lone Wolf products. I'm sure you'll really enjoy your new stand!

I agree they have a pretty slick system. I keep one set of sticks and stand ready for those times I need to make a quick move to get it done. Good stuff!

Love my lone wolf and stick combos and you will too! I have a pile of permanent stands and am always moving them and/or adding them, but my lone wolf run and gun sets never let me down/get worked hard each fall.

A week ago we were able to do one last camera check. Cameras were then moved to focus more heavily on scrapes, water, funnels, and inside corners. We also inventoried our food plots. The Green Screen and Valley Plots fields are coming in nicely! We have the VP Clover/Chickory Blend around our ponds and seeded down on all our trails (a plot as well). Other plots are seeded in the VP Brassica Blend, VP Beans, and VP Fall Grains Blend. We also took the opportunity to maximize our plots by overseeing Australian Winter Peas and Iron/Clay Cowpeas into our bean plots at this time. We even decided to trim out and hang one more rut stand. Lastly, we paused to admire how well out 6 new apple trees, pumpkin patch, and tower platform were looking!

Sorry guys haven't posted much lately. I've Had a lot going on. I'm currently waiting in line for now over an hour to get gas because there is such a shortage due to all the flooding lately, so figured Id post. I'm safe and my house made it through everything. My town received 51 inches of rain in a span of about 3 days. You guys may be seeing a lot of Houston in the news but our towns are east of that and got demolished by rain so not much national coverage on smaller counties. I did see the national news covering my area this morning on ABC for a change though which was nice. I have Had a lot of buddies who are less fortunate. I think deer season can't come fast enough for me. I need a big stress relief in my life right now lol. On the bright note did find a fresh rub before all of this last time I was at the lease. Its getting close for me ... September 30th! The light is at the end of the tunnel. I'll keep you guys posted! I posted a few pics in the bowhunting forum if you guys would like to see more let me know. Id be glad to show you what my areas look like!

    Stay safe guys

Also in Wisconsin. I won't be out opening weekend because I'm taking trapper education. After that I'll also be a weekend warrior. My vacation starts October 28 and goes until November 7.

Do you have XOP sticks also? If so how do you like them? I saw they have a bigger step than the lone wolf. I was thinking about ordering some. I've never liked the size of the lone wolf steps.
