Anyone else use them? I was cheap and ordered the non platinum ones. Got a dozen. Bow is being re strung. Next week I’ll get to fling them.
Make sure you cut from both ends, the batches we seen had bad run out on the ends. Otherwise they seemed fine.
I used them for one season. I did go the platinum route and with any carbon, cut from both ends to get them as perfect as I could. I did like them, they worked fine, but I ended up switching to Victory RIP TKO's. What I did not like about the Pierce, and this isn't really a knock on them, but more a knock on any .166 OD arrrow, is lack of components or ease of finding components for them. I also found that with that tiny of a diameter, lighted nocks were brittle. I bumped to .204 arrows and like that there are more components available and the nocks are stronger.
Same here - I love a good .204 I.D. arrow. I shot Black Eagle Rampages for a few years and now back to the trusty Easton Axis. IMO, that size arrow is perfect for bowhunting. Small enough to get the advantages of a thin diameter arrow without all of the component headaches for the micro ID arrows.
This didn’t cross my mind. Makes sense. I’ll give them a fair shake and remember your 2 cents. Thanks
I shoot them out of my Bear Escape. They have been really good for me. They ended up running 450 grains with broadhead.
Ive heard nothing but good. Aside from lighted nocks being brittle for them. Still waiting to get them from shop. Try to go tomorrow morning
