I have been shooting the vap's by victory for a year now and love everything about them except the taper insert system. they fly so good and penetrate like a hot knife through butter. But the inserts are bad about hanging in a bag target and over a period of practice shots the inserts work loose. I want to stay with the small diameter arrows and would like to hear what people think about the kinetic hunter shafts and inserts system..
If you are looking to stay small take a look at the Easton injections. The only thing with those you'll have to shoot deep six broadheads. But on the positive side a lot of people like those arrows!
I almost went with injections instead of the vaps. i just didn't like the thought of being limited to certain broadhead choices. I'll read up on them though since sime outserts for these small diameter arrows are interchangable.
I picked up a half dozen kinetic hunters today and gotem fletched up. Didn't get to shoot them though..maybe tomorrow. I was thinking there would be more weight difference between the vaps and kinetics bu nothing major. should fly great!!
Got to shoot some this evening. Didn't get to test them in a bag target but can't see where there would be a problem since the outserts fit flish with the shaft and the tips I'm using. They fly great and hit hard!!!
