Grunt calls

This morning I called in a high 120's to 130 inch buck from 50 yards away that I've never saw on my cams before. I let him pass cause I know of one other buck (my target buck) that's a size bigger. It was tough passing him at 15 yards.

Anyhow my question and point of this thread is what call do you use? Mine is a Primos Grunt and Wheeze. Its done me alright. I've called in a few bucks with it. I'm no Poorman though! That man knows his deer calling!!

Good to hear you like that grunt call, just got one last week.

 

Yep, I use the Ol Primos Buck Roar myself. Between me and my buddy, we have called in quite a few deer with them.

 

Like hearing that Cole! I don't use it much but when I have its worked probably 70% of the time.

Is that snow on the ground?? I use the same call, and mix in the MAD Growl.

 

Felxtone something or other. It works as good as any other. Bought it at Walmart 3 or 4 years ago.

 

Stratton game calls for me. It's done me good I've called in young bucks nothing mature yet. It has also called in does as well with the fawn bleat.

 

Yep. Got 3 to 4 inches 2 nights ago. Its just about gone.

I use the same call, I like it alot. It works real well.

 

I like my M.A.D Hyper Growl.

 

I use the old Primos Hardwood grunt. Did buy the new Flextone Brotherhood the other day. Really like it.

 

I had a MAD call prior. I lost them both. It came with a doe call as well. That doe call was phenomenal!! I so miss that doe bleet.

Still rocking the old trusty Tru Talker.

All 5 bucks on my wall fell victim to it. I very rarely blind call anymore however.

 

I rarely even use a call anymore. Ive never had any success w/ a grunt call. Ive had the mad buck growl. I might have to pick up the primos and give it a whirl.

I also have a Buck Commander call (just sits in my bag) and a Grunt - Snort Wheeze from Primos I believe that I use.

 

Dang Steve, you're killing me passing that bad boy! I'd love to just see one like that. Good job calling him in.

I rarely have success with a grunt. A couple times I have, I use a tru talker.

 

I have a Flextone Buck collector. I've called in one deer with it which was a spike. I like it overall.

 

I also use the Primos Buck Roar. I had a smaller 8 point show up this mornings, grunted at him, and he booked it outta town.
