So I'm eating dinner looking out my window and I see this young buck walk out into my driveway, so I get my binos out and check him out.

He has a shiny black growth under his right eye about 1/2 the size of a baseball....

Anyone ever seen something like that ?

He has a small but well shaped 6 point rack(yearling) and I wouldn't shoot him...but with that growth should I ? (during the season of course )

You have to use your own judgement on this one but I would if it's going to affect his quality of life. JMO
