Well what ground blinds is everyone using and how are they?
I have a d icks sporting goods brand predator blind. The only problem is that it's rounded and you really can't use a bow in it.

I was looking at one of the squared ones, but i'm not sure which one. I don't really want to spend $300 on a ground blind either.

I would like to be able to get at least 2 people it in and able to draw a bow.

I too bought the rounded one first and took it back right away. Way to small to comfortably use. I got a hub style one from ****s in return and it is much better. Big enough for two people with a bow. It will be a while probably before they get them back in stock though. I think I paid around $100 for it too.

Primos makes some pretty good hub style blinds. You can get the Ground Max blinds for like $130 most places. I am going to get the Vision style blind for next turkey season, that way there are no blind spots from windows

Eric - yeah I have the smaller one of the two. It was a christmas gift and of course it was the wrong one and they were out of the larger one by the time I got it. (typically I hate getting hunting stuff for christmas. I am WAY too picky).

Cole, that's not too bad at all. I'll have to check those out.

Is there a certain size you should shoot for? It's very easy to see how large something like 8 x 5 x 5 is, but until you're in it, you really aren't for certain.

I'm not sure of the actual dimensions, but me and a buddy (both 6' 230 lbs) have plenty of room for both turkey vests, 2 cameras and tripods, 2 chairs, and 2 bows. The hubs make the walls stick out, so there is plenty of room to draw a bow and move around.

Edit- This is the one we use, but $150 is one of the higher prices I have seen.

Man Cole that's nice. I'm glad i started this thread and thanks for the reply.

I'm still curious to others out there though.
What does and doesn't work for people?

Like Cole stated, the hub style blinds have alot more room because they open up wider then the actual dimensions. The dimensions on the original round pop up I had are actually very close to the hub style blind I have now. There is no comparison though on how much roomier the hub style is.

I just bought a Barronett Big Mike. 80in tall makes it tall enough to stand and shoot your bow. I paid 129.00 for it about a month ago. So far I really like it.
