How long before season should I put my blind out? I have never used it for deer before so I don't know when to put it out.

I have always put mine out, brushed it in pretty good and hunted out of it the same day. I'm not leaving mine out there for someone else to walk off with.

My ground blind hunting has been fairly limited, though I have taken doe out of them. I do the same as jm.......set it up, brush it in, hunt it that evening.

Brushing it in well is the key if you don't intend on leaving it out. Unlike turkeys, deer notice blinds in my experiences and usually become very alert. The more you make the blind part of the environment, the better off you'll be. Good luck Luke.

If theft isnt an issue, i would put it out 2-3 weeks ahead of time.

Theft isn't an issue so I might leave it out. Thanks again.
