I totally understand your point. My issue with the rhino blinds (and this is after literally hundreds of hours of sitting in them antelope hunting) is that the never sealed up tight. With much wind at all they sounded like a baseball card stuck in the spokes of a bike. The magnets werent strong enough to hold the windows closed and the elastic straps stretched out and wouldnt hold the windows shut.
I agree 100% with you on the magnets. So did Rhino as they did away with the magnets quite some time ago. Its now hook and loop. Much better IMO!
Well I was looking for a new blind and I think Heckler may have just earned earned his sales commission from Rhino.
I put in another vote for Double bull blind, I have had mine for 3 years now and it still works great and very easy to put a couple people in it and shoot out of.
Well I dont have the experience of having tried many groundblinds. But when I went to buy one I knew the word on the street was that Double Bull was the best. That is what I purchased and am still using now. Double Bull Dark Horse ! I love it ! I'd sleep in it if my woman wouldnt be lonely ! Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Any one that uses the baronets... Do you feel like the windows are just a tad high when shooting a bow out of them? Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
For an average sized person yes. But that can be easily overcome with a nice ground blind chair that offers adjustable heights. I like the blackout ground blind chair from bass pro. My wife is 5'3" and needs it to have an adequate view out of the windows. I on the other hand am 6'4" and have great field of view sitting on the same swivel bucket I use dove hunting.
