Ground blind hunting?

    What he said. I wear all black from waist up and paint my face with black smudges of paint. I have had does peering straight in with no mesh in the windows at about 15 yards. Just stay still and close my eyes and they move past. LOL. I've also shot two bucks from the ground at less than 10 yards basically leaning against a tree. It's all about having the perfect ambush spot. The only thing I don't like about blinds is the view isn't as good as a tree stand. But on my home place this year, I'm hoping to change that a little. Built a 6x8 platform six feet off the ground that I am putting my big blind on. Will post some pics as soon as I get it in the woods this weekend.
