I'll take a ground blind over a tree stand anyday, used to when a logging company cut out an area all the tops were lay'n around & all ya had to do was find one in the rite spot, add some extra limbs to help with camo,nail in a brace or two then a seat & you were in business, now days they only leave a few limbs lay'n on the ground. have'n thoughts on build'n a couple behind the house, place them so given the wind I still have a choice of hides to hunt from.
